This is a collection of my favourite Nigerian beauty products. A lot of people say theyre too expensive but I think it's important to support your local entrepeneurs and make our Naija brands internatonal.
About a year ago I stumbled upon Zaron’s gel liner in JAZZ and I fell hopelessly in love. Dramatic, I know but u have no idea how long I have searched for a good gel liner that does just what it says on the tin.
The Zaron Gel liner comes in 3 colours black (jazz), blue (jean) and green (jade). I use it on my eyelids as well as in my waterline. It is completely waterproof, so if you have teary eyes like me you won’t have black tracks running down your face at the end of the day. Once it dries it does not smudge. All I use to get it off are some wipes and a bit of coconut oil, you can also use some oil-based lotion if you prefer that.
They have recently revamped their packaging and it now comes with a little black brush, which is perfect for making precise strokes. The smooth creamy formula is very pigmented, and dries to a matte finish - I love it!

House of Tara Medium Coverage Foundation
As a lover of all things glowy, I do not like matte foundations and even though I have oily skin this foundation is perfect for me. It is non-comedogenic which means that it does not clog my pores, it is perfect for everyday makeup. It is very light and feels airy on your skin but also buildable if you need the extra coverage. It gives my face a youthful glow and lasts all day long without a primer.

Zaron Face Definer
In simple terms this is a highlighting and contouring kit, however if you really know your way around makeup this can be so much more!
The face definer comes in 4 shades PZ05, PZ10, PZ15, and PZ20. Each pallete contains a highlight, contour and bronzer all in powder form.
HIGHLIGHT- I use this to for two things, first to set my eye shadow primer and second to set my under eye concealer. Now I don’t bake under my eyes because it can cause me to have flashback in my photos so instead I just lightly brush over my concealer to set it. This powder is very light and does not crease or feel heavy on the skin. It's great!
CONTOUR - Most times I use this on my eyelid crease to form a sort of Smokey effect to my everyday eye make up. On other days when I’m not feeling lazy, I use it for exactly what it should be used for which is to contour my cheekbones. Now the main reason I like this is that as with the highlight it is a very light powder so the coverage is buildable. If you are very heavy handed this is the right contour powder for you!
BRONZER -This is my favourite bit! I use it as a highlight and it works perfectly. Many times highlighters tend to look ashy on my dark skin however with this it gives it a beautiful glow. I also use it to highlight my tear ducts and as an eye shadow for those no makeup looks.
